We apply premium hardwood or pine bark mulch to landscape beds, tailored to protect cool-season grass borders and retain moisture in Virginia’s fluctuating climate. A 2–3-inch layer suppresses weeds, insulates roots, and enhances visual contrast with tall fescue or bluegrass lawns. Best Timing: Spring (April–May) to prepare beds for growth or fall (September–October) to protect roots before winter.
