Our mowing service delivers a manicured lawn tailored to the cool-season grasses dominant in the Blue Ridge Mountains, such as tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass. We mow at the optimal height of 3–4 inches to promote deep root growth, retain moisture, and shade out weeds, critical in Virginia’s variable climate with hot summers and cold winters. Weekly mowing is recommended from April to June and September to October when grass grows actively, slowing to biweekly in July–August and late fall. Trimming, edging, and blowing ensure clean lines along walkways, drives, and beds, enhancing curb appeal.
