Lawn Aeration

Boost lawn health with expert aeration for deeper roots and lush growth.

Service Description

Our core aeration service relieves soil compaction, common in Virginia’s clay soils, allowing air, water, and nutrients to reach cool-season grass roots. For tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass, we use a core aerator to remove plugs, improving turf density. Overseeding post-aeration with fescue blends enhances lawn thickness. Best Timing: Fall (late August–October) is optimal for aeration and overseeding, as cool temperatures and moist soil promote germination. Spring (March–April) is a secondary option. Benefits: Aeration improves drought tolerance, reduces thatch, and rejuvenates thin lawns, ensuring a vibrant yard in Augusta County neighborhoods.
